Joining U-Report Team

I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined UNICEF Benin family last month as their newest U-Report Coordinator.
During my time as Youth Program Manager at CASEC, I’ve learned so much and I’d like to thank Mr. Azankpo and Mr. Tchabi for their incredible support and my dearest friend and colleague the Late Gedeon Mensah. I also thank all the colleagues and friends of the UNESCO Youth As Researchers program for all the skills they allowed me to develop, a special thank you to Sue Vize and Maria Kypriotou for this wonderful experience.
I can’t wait to see where this new chapter of my career will take me, and to continue growing as a professional.
Powered by UNICEF, U-Report is a free, anonymous and easy to use mobile messaging tool for adolescent, youth and community participation. It is designed to address issues that affect children and young people by collecting information from them to improve policy and programmes, and by directly providing life-saving information to the most vulnerable in a timely way. U-Report is run in collaboration with government partners, UNICEF programmes, and local NGOs or CSOs. It aims to engage adolescents/youth and provide a safe space for them to raise their voices and speak out on issues that matter to them, including issues of COVID-19, health and nutrition, child protection, education…
We’re now over 20.000 U-Reporters in Benin and I invite all the young people in Benin to join us.
Just send GO by SMS to 132 or text GO to our Facebook Page Messenger U-Report Bénin.

I look forward to working with all of you on this new adventure.
