For Nelson Mandela’s International Day (July 2018), Elvis Adjahoungba organized, with the African Center for Solidarity and mutual Aid between Communities (CASEC – ACSAC), a mobilization of youth and youth-led associations to present their actions in the fight for gender equality, poverty reduction and racial non-discrimination in their different communities.
This mobilization was composed of the members of the action synergy platform of the Young CTZ, Junior Chamber International, ENAFA NGO, Human Right Benin, ACSAC and other youth-led associations. It also marked the launch of the Mandela Day Challenge, which reached more than 5,000 young people and collected more than 100 photos of young people and adolescents from Benin, Togo, Ghana, Egypt, France and Belgium mobilized for peace.
This mobilization represents Youth’s strong commitment to the fight for tolerance, peace and inclusion among communities. (www.casec-acsac.org/mandela-day)
