December 04, 2019 is a special day for Youth and youth organizations in #Benin!
This day served for the official launch ceremony of African Youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development (#AfriYAN) in Benin with presence of the Regional Director of #UNFPA (WCA), His Excellency Mr. Mabingue Ngom.
The event was enhanced by the presence of the Resident Coordinator of UN Agencies, UNFPA Country Representatives from Benin, Togo, Chad, Burkina Faso, West African parliamentarians, stakeholders Private Sector, Actors of Civil Society and Youth Organizations.
AfriYAN aims to be a strong Advocacy and Lobbying Network that will agree on major development issues, with a particular focus on the SDGs and the African Union Roadmap on Demographic Dividend Capture.
